“If you don’t understand yourself, you don’t understand anybody else”

- Nikki Giovanni -

STORY OF THE BAMBOO TREE

The story of the bamboo tree is a parable that teaches the importance of patience, perseverance, and delayed gratification.

A bamboo seed is planted and watered, but there is no visible growth for the first year or several years. The bamboo tree's root system is developing underground, establishing a strong foundation.

In a short period, often in just a few weeks, the bamboo can shoot up to incredible heights, sometimes reaching over 90 feet.

The story teaches that success may appear to happen overnight, but it's the result of hard work, determination, and faith. It also reminds us that progress is not always immediate or visible.
